IPSY September Glambag: Classic Beauty Theme

Hi!! First, I'm so happy that I'm following my blog schedule. I hope I keep following it, hehe. Now onto the purpose of this post. Two days ago I received my September Ipsy Glambag and I liked the products that I received. I took some photos of the products and the bag. Before I forget, one thing that I like about this subscription is that every month I received a new cute mini bag instead of some subscriptions that I receive the products in a box. I have a lot to say about this subscription and others so I think I;m going to do a review post so stay tune to read it. Ok, let's continue with the ipsy glambag.

Here are the products for this month:

1. Tinted Lip Balm from Cailyn Cosmetics in Big Apple: It's a red matte color and it's really moisturizing as well. It's really pigmented so with just one or two swaps with the brush that comes with it's enough. I already tried it and I have to say that I like it because it stays a long time.

2. It's so BIG Volumizing Mascara from Elizabeth Mott: This mascara is perfect if you want to have big, curl and volumizing lashes. The first thought that came to my head when I saw this is that it resembles They're Real Mascara from Benefit. I don't know if it works the same because I haven't tried neither of them but it was just a thought. It's perfect for travel.

3. Single Eye Shadow from NYX: The color that I received is 108 Golden Poppy. It's a yellow bright color so it's perfect for that trend you want to do for fall.

4. Kohl Eye Pencil by  Obsidian: This is a creamy eyeliner that is perfect for doing smokey eye look. I really liked this eyeliner because it's not a dry kohl pencil.

5. Ivory Lace Highlighter Pencil by Chella: This beauty product it's perfect for to use it as concealer and also to brighten your eyes applying it in the browbone and in the inner corners.

Summer to Fall Makeup Transition

HOLA!! I'm going to do two separate posts about how to transition from summer to fall. One post is going to be about your makeup transition and the other post is about how transition fashion. I decided to do the makeup one first because is more fast to transition than the clothing, I think. So here it goes...

Fall is coming up and this means more chilly  and cold weather. It's not to hot and not to cold, so it's right in the middle between summer and winter. Also this means time to change your makeup from summer to fall makeup. Leaving  those bright colors and going with neutral, brown colors is a perfect way to change your makeup for this season, FALL. Doing some transition in how to wear your makeup also comes with trying new trends.

MAKEUP TRANSITIONS: 

FACE:

1. BB creams is the summer were a must have but for fall you can still use it. Don't start using your foundation just yet, you can still have a light product in your face as bb creams. This will give you a little coverage and also protect you from the little sun that's still in there.

2.  Bronzer: You don't have to leave your bronzer, just leave the shimmery bronzer and go with matte bronzer. Matte bronzers will still give you that tan you like and also will contour your face.

3. Blush: For blush, use a more light color, a color that can match well to your face. Try a light pink, brownish color. You can use your bronzer as your blush. Cream blushes are good for fall, you don't have to leave them. Use a powder blush that resembles the cream blush your using to keep more the blush on yur cheeks.

EYES:

4.  For eyes use neutral colors for eye shadow. Earthy tone colors in your eyes will be the best transition, no matter what color are your eyes. Leave shimmery eye shadows and go with matte eye shadow. You can go with natural colors or dark colors in your eyes. A good palette to try or of you already have it use it, is the Naked Basics Palette from Urban Decay. 

LIPS:

5. For lips, you can use natural colors or dark colors. Use lip stains or lip sticks because this lip colors will last more on your lips. Lip gloss is not for fall season, keep your lips matte and without shimmer.

TIPS:

-  use a shine free primer for your face
- do and fill your eyebrows to complete your look. Big and bold eyebrows are in for this season.

International Dance Workshop Experience

Hi guys :D This post is going to be a little different because is not about fashion or beauty. This post is going to be me talking about my experience at the International Dance Workshop. So today, September 8, 2013 I went with my best friend to a dance workshop here in Puerto Rico to celebrate her birthday and also because we love to dance. We did the dance workshop last year and we loved it and we decided to do it also this year. Basically this  dance workshop is famous choreographers from music stars teaching a bunch of people that love to dance some choreography and steps to learn and have it in our experience.

This year there were 5 choreographers. The choreographers were Rhapsody (Madonna, Step Up 2), Danny Lugo (Latin Billboards, Luis Fonsi), Tito and Tamara (salsa), Hollywood ( Rihanna, Chris Brown) and last but definitively Jonte (Beyoncé). The choreography that these choreographers showed us were amazing but obviously I have my favorites. The choreographies that I liked the most were from the choreographer Rhapsody and Hollywood. I also like Jonte's choreography. They used songs that are good and I really like. (I just downloaded all the songs from the choreographies, hehe). The songs used are: You'll Never Know by Ariana Grande, Watch Out For This by Major Lazer, Love More by Chris Brown ft Nicki Minaj, and the other ones I can't find them but I will keep searching.

I want to post some photos so you guys can see who are the choreographer and if you want to search for them on youtube to see how they dance, you can do it. Also some photos of me and my best friend with the choreographers. I'm sorry that I don't have more photos but taking photos or videos in the workshop was prohibited so I couldn't take any more photos of the event.

1. ELF Eyebrow kit : This comes with a wax to shaped and fill your eyebrows and a powder to set the eyebrows to look good. It comes in 4 shades ( light, medium, dark, and ash). You can get it in any drugstore selling elf products or Get it here. Personally, I have this and I really like it



2. Revlon ColorStay Brow Enhancer: This is s stick that comes with the color for your brows and a lighter color for the browbone part to finish the look. It has a variety of shades ( like 6-10). The best thing is that you can also use it as a cream eyeshadow, so you have like 2 in 1 product here. You can get it in any drugstore or get it here


3. Eyeliner Pencil:  You can also use any eyeliner pencil to achieve and do your eyebrows. Look for an eyeliner color that resembles your eyebrow hair color. There's a variety of eyeliner in every makeup brand. You can get them at any drugstore or high  makeup brands.


4. Anastasia Beverly Hills Eyebrow Powder Duo: It comes with two powder colors (darker and lighter )so you can achieve the perfect and natural eyebrows. Is available in 8 two-tone shades. You can get it  here or at Sephora

Exiting News!!!

Hi girls!!!! I have some news for you guys. I have been dealing with a lot of stuff from back to school and I don't have enough time for blog and to upload video son youtube. I have finally come together and I have decided to do a blog schedule to be more active in my blog life. I will try to maintain the schedule and maybe there can be times where I can blog other days not in my schedule and if I do that is because I have the time and because I like to do blog posts and youtube videos. For youtube I can make a schedule because that take more time with the editing, and filming the video but I will not abandon my youtube channel.

August Favorites!!

Hello girls :D August went so fast and I think faster than summer. I can't believe it. But anyways here are some of my favorites and goodies that I have been  loving this past month and I'm pretty sure I'm going to keep using them. Beauty Wishlist

Hi!! I think I haven't blog for a week and I'm sorry. I think I have to organize myself and set a day or days to blog and also to do and upload You Tube videos. But anyways, continuing with this post, I like trying new things and especially if I see that other people use them a lot. So, I decided to do a beauty wishlist. In this beauty wishlist I will show and I will like to have this beauty products before the 2013 ends. I know that most of this beauty products are a little old but I'm a newbie at beauty so I want to have them. And I want to have them also because they all have good review so I know there are good because I trust the reviews. Most of my makeup, like 95% of my makeup are drugstore makeup and in this wishlist I have high brand makeup so yeah, I'm willing to pay a little more for good and long lasting makeup. So here is my wishlist....

** I didn't realize that most of the beauty products are from Benefit and Urban Decay, hehe.

1. They're Real Mascara from Benefit: I have been seeing and hearing that this mascara is perfect because it makes your lashes look perfect and voluminous. I only use like Covergirl or Maybelline mascara and they do a very nice job but I would like to try this mascara to explore other mascaras. I think this is a little pricey, like $16 dollars and maybe more but I don't care, like I said I'm willing to pay more for a good makeup.


2. Naked Basics Palette from Urban Decay:  So this palette has basic colors like the name says and I think it's perfect for traveling. I have like traveling palettes from Elf but it doesn't have like all the basic colors and matte colors. I'm looking forward to buying this palette.


3. Naked 2 from Urban Decay:  This is the palette # 2 from the Naked Palette and I think for what I have seen, that this palette is better and have more beautiful and neutral colors than the first palette. I would buy both of them but for now I will buy the most recent that is the Naked 2 palette.


4. Benetint from Benefit:  This product is I think the most wanted product that I would like to have because you can use it in some many ways, for your cheeks to your lips, and so on. I have one in like travel case that came in my July ipsy bag and it's already running out because I have been using it a lot. In my skin, it doesn't show a lot but I use it anyways because in top of it I apply a matte soft pink and with this my blush stays longer.



5. M.A.C. products:  I don't have like a specific beauty product that I would like to try from MAC. I really want to try at least one either an eyeshadow, lipstick, foundation, etc. I know this brand is a well, good, high brand that sells a lot so that;s why I would like to try their products.


6. NARS Bronzer in Laguna: I use an Elf bronzer but it's not a matte bronzer and for fall a matte bronzer is a good product to have and not only fall but also for common use and for a natural look. I've heard that this bronzer in this particular shade is perfect for all kind of skin tones and that's one of the reasons that I want it.


7. Taylor by Taylor Swift Perfume: This product I NEED TO HAVE IT!! I have the last two perfumes of Taylor and I need to have this one. She's one of my favorite singer no matter what people say about her and her boyfriends. I love her. I try or smelled a sample and it smells really good and different from the other ones. This perfumes smells like a younger, sweet and nice girl. I NEED TO BUY IT PRONTO , hehe


This is all my beauty favorites and I hipe I can get them soon specially the Taylor Swift perfume.
